Mets, Perez probably heading to arbitration - David Lennon pointed out that “Perez has talent but lacks consistency, and with only a season standing between him and free agency, it looks as if he could be the first player to go to arbitration with the Mets since David Cone in 1992.” Lennon also noted that the Mets offered $4.725 million to Oli, but Oli is looking for $6.5 million.
